Wellbeing in our school

Wellbeing promotion is a fundamental focus in our school and we are committed to promoting positive wellbeing throughout our school community.

We understand the importance of maintaining a positive wellbeing and the role it plays in creating an environment where all are healthy, happy and achieve their best.

Wellbeing was our School Self Evaluation focus last year and it will continue to be a focus as wellbeing is at the core of what we do in Abbeyleix South National School and we endeavour to embed whole school practices which promote a culture of wellbeing.

Each month we now have a Wellbeing Focus in school.

In November we will focus on ‘Kindness’.

 

Our Amber Flag Team will help to promote our Wellbeing Focus each month, through whole school announcements and class visits.

We look forward to reporting on our Wellbeing endeavours each month.
