This September has been very busy. The children have settled back into school. We have been busy conducting science experiments. We examined soil settling. The children learnt that stones will settle at the bottom, followed by soil and then water on the top of the surface.
We also conducted an experiment on iron oxide. The children learned all about how the elements of nature cause rusting to occur. The class conducted a fair test to investigate whether or not salt speeds up the process of rusting. The results concluded that salt does in fact speed up the process of rusting.
